COVID-19

Dear Brazos Valley Dermatology Family,

Regarding COVID-19, we at Brazos Valley Dermatology would like to assure you that maintaining a safe environment for our patients and their loved ones is our top priority. We are following guidance from the CDC, Texas Medical Board, and local authorities to take necessary precautions to prevent unintended spread of the disease. The health and safety of our patients and employees is our top priority.

If you have an appointment and are experiencing any symptoms of illness including fever, chills, cough, body aches, shortness of breath, you are required to postpone your appointment for two weeks.  If you have known exposure to someone with COVID-19, please reschedule your appointment. Please call (979) 693-7444 and we will kindly reschedule you.

We are taking additional measures to maintain a safe environment for our patients, families, and team members and have the following protocols in place:

• Masks are encouraged but not required. Unvaccinated people are encouraged to wear a mask in the building.
• Dr. Weaver, Dr. Garcia, Caitlin Sears PA, and all team members wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before and after each patient interaction.
• Our patient care providers will avoid shaking hands without the appropriate PPE (Gloves).
• Our office cleans and disinfects throughout the day; including wiping down door handles, exam rooms, and surface areas.
• Hand sanitizer is placed throughout the office for your continued use throughout the duration of your visit.
• Magazines have been removed from the waiting room.
• Employees showing any signs of illness are instructed not to report to work.

• One visitor is allowed to accompany each patient.
• Nonessential personnel and vendors are not allowed at this time.
